This exclusive collection of back vintage Riesling includes 1 bottle of each of the following vintages: 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022.
We always hold back a small amount of wine from each vintage to re-release as aged wine. The winemakers recently tasted a selection of Riesling and the general consensus was summed up by a unanimous “yum!’.
Hesitantly, they have decided to make available a limited number of vertical 6 packs for others to enjoy. Valued at $214 available for $184 until sold out.
Winemaking Notes
The overall comment by the winemaking team was “yum!” Tim even said, he wanted to keep the wines for himself, but thought he had better share these carefully aged Rieslings with other Riesling fans.

2014 – Stone fruit and candied lemon dominate the nose, but the wine still shows the same acid structure and freshness as 5 years ago. Be quick before Tim takes the last stock!

2016 – Younger version of the 2013 Riesling. The wine has a luscious palate with subtle stone fruit characters sustained by a delicate but precise citric structure.

2018 – Zesty and spirited when youthful or left over time their maturation is slow, graceful, and worthy of appreciation. Our Riesling is a prime example of this wonderful phenomenon.

2019 – A cooler than average three months leading in to vintage meant that this Riesling retained good natural acidity and therefore added freshness enhancing our trademark brisk finish.

2020 – This wine has lifted varietal Riesling character with floral and citrus aromatics of grapefruit, lime and lemon. The palate is seamless with a richness of flavour built from dry ripening conditions leading into vintage. This wine will develop further during the next 10 years.

2022 – A relatively cool summer meant that the Riesling fruit retained good natural acidity providing freshness and enhancing our trademark brisk finish.

Food Pairing
This back vintage selection of Riesling will pair well with seafood dishes. Aged Riesling also makes a great match to Zucchini blossom & preserved lemon risotto with ricotta & parmesan or variations that include these ingredients.
